What to include for each occasion
For a birthday, name the guest of honor and include their age if it is relevant. A short opening works well for a kids’ party, leaving room for the details parents need.
For a wedding, check both names and distinguish the ceremony time from the reception. For a baby shower, make the occasion clear and add a gift registry only when it is ready. For graduation, identify the graduate and whether the gathering is a ceremony, dinner or party.
Check these details before sending
A sample still needs your own event details. Replace every bracketed placeholder before exporting.
- Full date and time, including a.m. or p.m. when helpful.
- Venue name and an address guests can find.
- An actual reply-by date and RSVP contact or published event link.
- Guest, dress code or access instructions only when relevant.
Make the wording fit the artwork
Designs have different editable fields and layouts. Keep the name, occasion, date, time and location first. Shorten the opening when text feels crowded; extra lines may require a smaller font.
Read the result at the size guests will see on a phone or on paper. Longer directions, a map and RSVP instructions can go in a separate message sent with the image.
